KeyGlow

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Using the tool

KeyGlow is provided free of charge for personal, educational and commercial use. No account is required and there is no usage limit beyond the 50,000 character cap per analysis. You may use the highlighted output however you like, including in coursework and at work.

Your text and your rights

You keep all rights to the text you paste. Because the analysis runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded, we never receive a copy and therefore claim no licence over it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the text you paste, particularly where it belongs to someone else or contains confidential or personal information.

Accuracy and limitations

KeyGlow ranks sentences using statistical text analysis. It does not understand meaning the way a human reader does, and it does not use a large language model. It will sometimes highlight a sentence that is not important to you, and sometimes miss one that is.

The highlights, key takeaways and reading-time estimates are aids to reading, not a substitute for it. Do not rely on them alone for academic, legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions. Always read the surrounding text before acting on anything the tool surfaces.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, interfere with how advertisements are served, generate artificial advertisement impressions or clicks, or redistribute the site as your own service. Automated scraping that degrades the service for other people is not permitted.

Advertising

The site displays third-party advertisements to cover its costs. We do not endorse the products or services advertised and are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the sites they link to. See the Privacy Policy for what advertising networks may collect.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or that the output will be free of error. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
